Step by step

This list covers the full kit. If something did not come in your boxes, skip its steps.

1. 1

   Set the stand on the counter

   Set the stand on the counter with the BlazeBite sign facing you.

   Slide on the top bracket

   Slide the black plastic top bracket onto the top end of the metal stand, flat side on the metal, the two knobs underneath. Leave the knobs loose for now.

   Tip: No tools needed. You tighten it once the tablet is in.

   Plug in the printer

   Set the printer on the counter. Plug its power cord into the socket on the back of the printer and into the wall or a power strip.

   Turn on the printer

   Press the power switch on the side of the printer to On. The blue light comes on.

   Load the paper

   Push the lever to open the cover. Drop the roll in so the paper comes off the bottom of the roll, toward the front. Pull the end straight out and close the cover.

   Watch out: Paper over the top of the roll prints blank. Only the outside of the roll prints. Pulled out over the front, the plain side faces up and the printing side faces down.

   Tip: The printer cuts the paper by itself. Throw away the little piece.

   Set the printer on the tray

   Slide the printer onto the stand's tray, turned sideways: paper slot to your left, power cord out to the right.

   Tip: Sideways on purpose. It leaves room to work the tablet above it.

7. 7

   Rest the tablet on the ledge

   Set the tablet's bottom edge on the black ledge, screen facing you, charging port on your right. Lay it back against the stand.

   Lock the top bracket

   Slide the black top bracket down over the tablet's top edge. Turn the two black knobs underneath by hand until snug.

   Tip: Snug is enough. Do not crank the knobs.

9. 9

   Plug in the tablet

   Plug the tablet's cable into the charging port on its right edge. Plug the other end into a USB wall charger in the wall or power strip.

   Tip: Not into the printer. Its USB port is too weak to keep this tablet charged.

10. 10

    Turn on the tablet

    Press and hold the Side button on the tablet's top edge until the screen lights up.

    Tip: If the BlazeBite Kitchen app does not open on its own, tap it.

11. 11

    Connect the printer

    In the BlazeBite app, tap the gear for Settings, then Scan for Printers. Tap the printer that starts with TSP100.

    Tip: Not in the list? Check the printer is on with its blue light lit, then scan again.
